I came into town to watch a PSU football game, and this is where we fueled up before the game. It was crowded, but in a fun way. I absolutely love diners, and this checked all of the boxes. We sat at the counter, and the friendly waiter took out order in a friendly way. There was a small town buzz in this place which surprised me for Portland. The food was absolutely delicious, and it didn't hurt that we were washing our breakfast down with beer.
Came here for brunch, have been wanting to come for awhile mostly because the food smells are always great and the place is always packed. We waited about 15 mins for a table. We split the eggs Benedict's and the chilaquiles and a side pancake. I recommend the chilaquiles and the pancake was BOMB
Wow. This place is amazing. We're visiting and this is the first place we stopped to eat. We had the classic cheeseburger with avocado and a pancake. The burger was great but that pancake is the best pancake I've ever had. Service was great. The staff were kind and welcoming.
My friend and I agreed on this breakfast place because she's vegan, I'm carnivore and we both thoroughly enjoyed the options available with friendly staff and delicious food. We will be back again. Love that diner vibe
Came here on a super busy lunch time and wasn't expecting to be sat so quickly! the host was nice and direct. our server was very helpful about my allergy and even while super busy was very attentive. plates are huge portions and food came out speedy! yay! will def be back
We had this place on our "Breakfast" list and were walking around this morning and decided to go. Definitely not a "large party" place but a group separated two tables would work. Cute diner with diner seating, window seating and regular tables. The food was delicious the cooks are hispanic so we knew it would be Food came out super quick as did the latte! Service was good, they are very busy but they don't forget about you. They kinda just let you be and make sure you're good. We got a chorizo burrito and the tres (3) meats burrito and they were delicious and HUGE. For sure one is shareable (or at least get one burrito and another plate to share lol) The vanilla latte was the best I've had. So perfect, not too sweet. Also very bug cup. Pricing not bad either, $16 for a burrito but I had to take half home so technically two meals for $16 We will be back :)
Nice breakfast spot in downtown Portland. Went here on a Monday morning and place was pretty packed so we only got bar seating, but that was fine with us. Ordered a cappuccino and some orange juice while studying the menu. We chose the porridge and the salmon scramble with a side of fruit. The salmon scramble was good, bit too much cream cheese for me. Hash brown and toast were great. Loved the side of fruit, usually you only get some chunks of melon with a few Apple slices. The fruit tasted very fresh and had some nice variety. Staff was friendly and attentive.
On our last day in Portland, my partner and I decided to come here for breakfast. We were quickly sat at the bar tables and it had a good amount of people dining in on a Thursday morning. I ordered the chilaquiles and he ordered the veggie burrito. The chilaquiles were tasty and flavorful. I'm glad I ordered this because it's one of the dishes they're known for. They had a nice crunch to it and it was aesthetically pleasing. My sunny side eggs perfectly ran onto my chilaquiles when I popped the yolk and meshed together nicely. My partner enjoyed the veggie burrito but he was expecting his salsa to be spicy since it comes with a burrito. So if you're looking for a kick, this sauce isn't for you. He did say it is tasty, but not spicy at all. But overall he liked it.
